If you are not physically fit to do 3 dives, Ocean Academy Komodo offers you the option to sign up for 2 dives. You can decide on the day whether you want to join the 3 dives or not, and if not, you will wait on the boat. The schedule is based on three dives per day. 　If you wish to do two dives, you will have to wait on the boat until the end of the three dives. Please be aware of this. Komodo's dive sites are full of big fish and beautiful corals, including manta rays, and other attractions to fulfil divers' wishes! Ocean Academy Komodo's experienced guides will support you to dive safely and enjoyably. If it is your first time diving abroad or if you have blank time, please come to Ocean Academy Komodo! ～Private Guided Diving If you are not confident in your skills and physical strength, if you feel nervous when you dive with other people, if you are a scuba diver or Jr Open Water diver and have depth restrictions, etc., please apply for a private guide from the OP if you are worried about the normal tour. • Requirements

  • Have a valid Open water or higher licence.
  • No more than one year has passed since the last dive.

• Restrictions

  • Bring safety sausage and a reef hook as it is mostly drift diving.
  • Jr OW cannot dive with the general group due to depth restrictions. Please be sure to consult with us in advance.
  • As there must be an interval of at least 18 hours between the end of the dive and the boarding of the plane, it is not possible to take part on the day of the flight.

• What to Bring

  • Please wear a swimming costume and bring a towel.
  • All guests participating in the tour must complete a Divers Medical and Notice of Hazards form in advance and give it to the staff on the day of the tour.

• Additional Info

  • Please note that Komodo National Park entrance fees and activity tickets are charged separately on the day of the tour.
  • If the number of applicants is small, we may utilize boats shared by other companies.
  • The decision regarding the departure on the day in case of inclement weather will be determined by the local Coast Guard. If the tour is canceled, we will promptly contact the contact information provided by customers in advance. We appreciate your understanding and kindly ask for your prior acknowledgment.
  • If you need picked up and dropped off, a round trip between hotel and port is available for Rp 160,000.
